Recently I’ve been asked a number of times “what is it you actually do? 8221; with some people becoming more puzzled at the answer. So lets shed some light on what it is I do, day to day. I understand that working in multiple ways can sound a little odd, but when freelancing you need to be multi-diciplined. Otherwise you won’t survive. But what I can say, is that I enjoy all of it. The comics are definatly the favourite but all aspects of my work are fun. Textile print – speed painting.

So heres some insight using the Kuruz brief that I had recently as an example. I quite enjoyed my lightly smoked salmon with a pipe, very distinguished, and fell back on the bagpipe stereotype card for the Scottish salmon. I especially enjoyed drawing a muscular mussel and the freedom scottish salmon in highlander costume, wasn’t sure they were going to keep them up when drawing them, but my bosses have a good sense of humour. Some more chalk board signs I’ve done for Sainsbury’s over the last few months, they gave me some more colours to play with =D. Fish counters xmas chalkboards.

Leibnitz solved this problem by saying that an object can contain its own negation and the number zero can mean that there are no numbers (of whatever it is being counted) in the room opposed to literally nothing. Numbers were seen as magic, floating, prefect platonic forms, this was especially considered with the numbers 3, 7, 12 and 13.
