NW rose quickly to see who was banging on his door. As soon as he lifted the latch his mouth flew open. Standing in front of him was his best friend John looking as if he'd heard the world was coming to an end. Beside John stood his sister Sarah wringing her hands and crying. Said N.W. Saturday, August 8, 2015. SATURDAY, AUGUST, 8, 2015. I've made the corrections suggested by my critique editor and need to move on with chapters 2, 3, and 4 of Trail Blazer, Vol. 2. It's been several weeks since I've won at Bingo. I play every Monday and Saturday night. If you know me at all you know I don't like to lose. I play to win in my writing, in bowling, and in bingo. I don't get bent out of shape when I come up short but I sure do like to win. I also like for my team to win.

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. FROM THE FOURTH QUARTER. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12, 2015. A WELL SPENT DAY. I got up early, took my blood sugar and had breakfast. Then I did some collating of manuscript research notes and readied my apartment for it bi-weekly apartment cleaning. A little before 9:00 I headed over to the main building to be in line for Megan Johnson, my wonderful audiologist, to change out my lyric hearing devices. They are working wonderfully well!
