http://evansfamily1997.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 29, 2015. Evans Current Events—March 2015. Grace came home from school not feeling well on March 2nd. She laid down on the couch and sweet Isaac plopped down in front of her and started reading her a story. He chose Dr. Seuss of course because it was Dr. Seuss’ birthday. . In honor of Dr. Suess Isaac drank pink ink like a yink. Grace didn’t feel well enough. By that evening both Grace and Isaac weren’t feeling very well. It made for a very quiet FHE that night. We took advantage of t...

Sunday, August 2, 2015. Current Evans Events—February 2015. I am writing this in August, so I guess these February events aren’t too current. In fact, I don’t remember too much of the little things of February. I shouldn’t get so behind! It was so fun to hear Isaac and Grace reading books. They both are reading well. Scenes like these make me so happy! Grace read a book that inspired her to make laser eye glasses. Goofy girl! 160; The moon and the sunrise would give us quite the show at times. 160; ...

Sunday, February 22, 2015. It was wonderful and I enjoyed it! 160; The rest of the day was completely lazy. Isaac and Grace were happy to play all day with their new things. They did finally make it out of their pajamas at one point and went outside to make use of their new coats and the walkie talkies. . When Lee came home they continued with the Lego projects. I’m not sure what Emma was doing, probably being lazy right along with me! 160; So this year I made everybody pose in front of the tree on the ...

Everything Evans: March 2014
http://evansfamily1997.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 15, 2014. Valentine’s Day started off with a little breakfast treat in the kids’ mailboxes, reading our last love scriptures, and Lee’s traditional giant heart-shaped cookie (all he wants for Valentine’s Day and he’s gotten it for the last 17 years). Isaac, Grace and I delivered some of their valentines. They were so excited to give them to their friends. It’s a great Valentine’s Day activity. . Thanks to Janeece whose idea it was a few years ago! 160; We played husband vs. wife minu...

Thursday, January 30, 2014. Mom’s Day Off. They got glider planes, hiked up all the stairs, looked at the beautiful view at the top, and launched their planes. . Astoria is such a pretty place. Their next stop was Ft. Clatsop. . Lee said that Isaac and Grace loved working on the Junior Ranger workbooks. It’s pretty obvious that Emma wasn’t as impressed. On the way home they stopped for dinner at Camp 18. . And thoroughly enjoyed my quiet time at home. . Posted by The Evans Family. Later that afternoon L...

Everything Evans: November 2014

Saturday, November 29, 2014. We Can Do Hard Things. Back to school time totally snuck up on us. The summer just seemed to fly by. And what a school year it was going to be for us. Grace and Isaac were headed to kindergarten. Gulp. Emma was going to be a freshman in high school. Double gulp. To really unify our family on that theme Lee and I decided to get t-shirts made. They were a hit. We surprised the kids with the t-shirts at our back to school dinner. We had a yummy dinner and discussed. The ki...

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Leap of Fright 2014. Leap of Fright 2014 was a success. . About a week later it was down due to a lot of rain and very strong winds. It also took down visqueen in other places. So a couple days later they put it back up. Wouldn’t you know it, we had more high winds and it fell down again! The crush room did just what it sounds like. When people stepped into it the walls closed in on them. Pretty scary! Not to mention the maze I had to walk through to get to my freezer or ou...

Everything Evans: June 2014

Sunday, June 29, 2014. Emma’s Big Week. The first week of June was a big one for our Emma Mae. On June 1st she received her. 160; She specifically asked for and prepared to receive it so she could have it during her high school years. Wise girl! 160; What a special day it was for us. We felt the spirit and we were reminded of Emma’s divine nature and her spiritual purpose on this earth. . The next day was her 8th grade graduation. Before the actual celebration there was an awards ceremony. . A few day...

Everything Evans: April 2014
http://evansfamily1997.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 13, 2014. Lee did most of the demo work, but I got in there to finish things up. It was already looking better without that ugly backsplash! Lee gave me a quick lesson on spackling, but I was not good at it. I gave that job right back to Lee. He gave me the job of painting. I like the gray color we picked, although it makes that little bathroom darker than we thought it would. We finally had a finished product the first weekend in March. My favorite part is the mirror. ...160; The t...
