64 4 528 2007. 244 Dakins Rd, RD7, Carterton, NZ. The establishment of Lynfer Estate has been another chapter in the journey of David and Coleen Boyd who immigrated to New Zealand in 1988. David is originally from Northern Ireland and Coleen from the Falkland Islands. Vines are grown on a Vertical Shoot Positioning trellis with 2 metre row spacing. Rows are oriented north-south for maximum exposure of the fruit bunches to sunlight, a requisite for premium quality wines in a cool climate region.
