It has been a month since we arrived home, and we have to keep reminding ourselves that it's only been a month because it sure seems like it's been a lot longer. Kaylee is the very best thing that has ever happened to us, and we are so grateful that we get to be her parents! Our sweet baby sleeping on our sofa the day after we arrived home. Yesterday she tucked her lovey into blankets on the sofa and then whispered, "Mommy, Bubby seeping." Precious angel.

This is the story of our adoption in a nutshell. We were married in November 2006, and in February 2008 we decided we would grow our family through adoption. We waited and waited to meet marriage requirements, age requirements, and other requirements to adopt internationally. As soon as we qualified for one country they would change the requirements, the wait would grow exponentially, or they were no longer accepting applications. It was so disheartening. We are so OVERJOYED! Merry Christmas Little Preshy.
