July 12, 2015. July 12, 2015. Finding Happiness – or Transformation Step 2. The numbness of everday life started to wear off and joy crept in. My WW leader also said this week that we (the weight watchers attendees) tend to eat our emotions – both good and bad. I thought back to time when I was unable to identify things that made me happy. That numb void. Was I eating away both the bad feelings and the good ones? Is that why I had difficulty knowing what made me happy? My beautiful, hilarious daughters.

There are the neighbors in their golf cart! I’m going to run really fast past them. I bet they will be so impressed. I bet they’ve never seen anyone run fast like me. I bet they are discussing it right now. Oh yeah, meditation. Breathe, one two three. The shoes that I didn’t like yesterday but like today. Breathe, one two three.

During our night at the pub, Big Al insisted that we skip Blarney Castle and go into Killarney and Dingle because those were better places to explore. We had our hearts set on kissing the Blarney Stone, so we nodded politely and thanked him for the suggestion and went to Blarney anyway. And we are SO GLAD we did! Oh my lord, what a place! A natural tunnel made of trees and decorated with pom poms. These looked like giant dandelion puffs.

Mother Grandmother Vegan Runner Healthy Eating. My first medal 😄. June 8, 2015. Sunday 7th of June was the day of the local hospital fun run, which was raising money for the cardiology unit. It was a 5k or 10k and I opted for the 5k as I have a 10k in two weeks time (which I’m dreading by the way ) . Turns out the race wasn’t until noon and the day was bright sunny and very warm! And my HUGE t shirt. I’m so sad but I love it. My first 10k….and I loved it. 2 thoughts on “ My first medal 😄.
