A place to be me. Tuesday, 16 October 2007. The Penguin is back online. Yes believe it or not I have finally managed to organise the internet down here in sunny Nowra, which for those that are unaware, it is about 2 1/2 hours south of Sydney on the coast. Down here posted to HMAS Albatross which is the Naval Air Base. I am the Chief Regulator and Senior Clinical Manager of the Hospital here which is all a bit new but good as well. Who knew I would ever reach the dizzy heights of Chief! Man Of The Moment.

A place to be me. Tuesday, 30 October 2007. He's not dead yet. I managed to complete my annual fitness test this morning a lot easier then I had anticipated. Especially seeing as I have done no sport of any type at all since the last test 12 months ago. So completed the mandatory flexed arm hang and the sit ups, and then went for the 2.4km run. Being over 35 I have 15 min to complete the run and managed to run it in 11 min 22sec, so was very happy with that time. Till then take care. Man Of The Moment.

A place to be me. Sunday, 11 November 2007. It is Remembrance Day today and both the Guvnr and I where down at the Cenotaph. He in his official capacity and me just as a sailor in uniform remembering. Was a decent turn out and an excellent speech by an Army Colonel that brought tears to many eye's, including myself.
