The Magic of Colour: February 2012
http://themagicofcolour.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The Magic of Colour. Friday, 17 February 2012. Time once again for a new challenge at the Cardmadfairy. And this time she has requested anything but square. I'm hoping to see some really inspirational projects like the ones the design team. I have used the inspire image. And as it features a picture of my highly talented niece Lynsey. Who is a writer I decided to make her an early birthday card, one less job to do in June! I also used one of the birds from the three crows. Set as it has writing on it.

About | Writing Fiction
http://carolinevonschmalensee.com/about
Imagining joys and pains. After years of writing technical documents I’m turning my hand back to fiction. Despite my attempts to be nice, unexpected and often unpleasant things happen to my characters. They live in a more interesting world than mine and sometimes I envy them. (And then something happens to them that makes me grateful to be safe and sound in a flat in Edinburgh.). If you’re intersted in my writing, you’ll find some under the STORY. Category on this site. Not many, but some. I want to writ...

Reading your own work: cringing and grinning | Writing Fiction
http://carolinevonschmalensee.com/reading-your-own-work-cringing-and-grinning
Imagining joys and pains. Reading your own work: cringing and grinning. Written by carolinevon in Story. Asymp; 0 comments. I read one of my own stories the other day. I was editing the Read Me. Page and saw a link to a Christmas story I didn’t remember writing. So I read it. At first, there was cringing. I know it was a fast, unedited write, but there were problems that made me want to smack myself. At the end, however, I giggled. Not because of awfulness, but because I liked the twist. I want to write ...

Lynsey May, Writer. Edinburgh-based writer Lynsey May. Edinburgh’s being brilliantly booky. October 1, 2014. First, I wrote a bookworm’s guide to Edinburgh and Glasgow. For The List, then I showed a lovely Swedish editor for an airline magazine around some of my favourite literary places and if that wasn’t enough, it’s almost time for the Porty Book Fest. I heard novels write themselves these days, anyway. This entry was posted in literary readings. Writing prizes: Always read the fine print. Notify me o...
