http://presenteternity.blogspot.com/2012/03/hungry-for-change-part-3-perspective.html
Thursday, March 29, 2012. Hungry for Change: Part 4. Perspective. On the evening of Day 3, we visited with another set of friends over in San Jose. We met them at a coffeeshop and all drank tea together- they were eager to hear what new diet prevented us from sharing dinner with them. Side note, once settled into our conversation, we realized that this coffeeshop suffered from what Portlandia calls "Bad Art, Good Walls". Nearly there, girl! Hi Kristin- Great to read your posts! Wednesday, December 31, 2008. No weddings and a funeral. Sunday, December 21, 2008. I guess i once said something to the effect of:. Its not like you ever figure out all your issues- you just learn over the years to navigate the mess. I was surprised by that statement, because i am not impressed with much that i say- except that that seemed like something truer than i could have known at the time. and its so true now. Here i am in the mess. I have learned so much recently- all the things i wrote about in...

http://presenteternity.blogspot.com/2012/03/hungry-for-change-part-3-what-helps.html
Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Hungry for Change: Part 3. what helps the hunger? After some encouraging texts/notes from a few others who have undertaken this challenge, I was anticipating a better Day 3. And, don't ya know it, they were right! Actually, things got better even sooner than that. As you have realized by now, Hungry for Change eliminates most of your food choices for five days. This feels strange and counter-cultural! Is it good for us? Kristin, its Natalie (Hannahs wedding). HI! Just read your l...

Wednesday, December 30, 2009. I re-read this today and felt it right to share now, some 4 months later. Port de iquaçu/iguaçu falls. There is no way! The fear and danger of flying gave way to the beauty of this expansive and amazing experience of South America. Friday, December 04, 2009. A year in the kingdom. When i look back on my life. A stillness passes over friends. What i stored was yours to keep. It's no more mine to reclaim than the rocks and the trees. What comfort used to pass my days. 8220;The...

Monday, March 26, 2012. Hungry for Change: Part 2. the empty feeling. How do they work at physically demanding jobs like this? I am sad that this is how most people in the world feel most of the time, and I am sad that I am so miserable after less than 24 hours. I don't have any spiritual wisdom or insights, except that I feel empty and sad. Will be praying for you. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Hungry for Change: Part 4. http://presenteternity.blogspot.com/2012/10/rain-and-shine.html
Wednesday, October 10, 2012. This is awesome, but also SO SCARY. This will be the biggest purchase of our lives and make us "home owners." WHAT? Our new home on Rosedale! Just after signing papers! Double Rainbow: picture does not do it justice. Once the papers were signed and the cashiers check turned in, I called my mom- I was EXCITED to tell her about this special moment, not afraid! I am WITH YOU! I am not leaving, I am not giving up, I am not forsaking you. I am HERE! Yes He is with us through both,...

Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Hungry for Change. again. The first time we went through the Hungry for Change experience (about a month ago), I remember it almost being over and already dreading having to do it again. Heading into Day 4 of the second time through this thing, I know why. What will it be like? How will I feel? And then the end of Day 3 hit me. Feel, how much I. Want this to be over, how difficult this is for me. But, it's not about me. It's not about me. IT'S NOT ABOUT ME. 8220;The humans live i...
