Lima is yet another busy Peruvian city with congested streets and a chaotic mix of cars and buses all following their own set of road rules. The roads around our hostel are filled with a cacophony of car horns, honks, hoots, and sirens of various rhythms and melodies. We seem to be getting more and more forgetful in our ‘old traveling age’, so we’ve accumulated quite a list of things we’ve lost on this trip. Here they are in rough order:. We left our jellyfish face washer in the shower in a Madrid hotel😦. I left my PJ pants in a hotel bed in Prague. We lost Luke’s elephant tail bracelet somewhere😦. We left our awesome peg-less clothesline at our friend’s house in Switzerland😦.

Here in Cusco, we are at an elevation of 3399m above sea level. I’ve gotten into coca tea big time it supposedly helps with the altitude, and so far, I’ve only had a bit of breathlessness, but no other altitude symptoms.
