Thursday, July 22, 2010. Wiki vs. Blog - what's the difference? As I am learning more about wikis and blogs, I am becoming just a little more confused. Is there a clear-cut explanation that helps the creator choose which application is best for his (or in my case, her) needs? But then you would have to track changes to actually see the exchange taking place. I guess my immediate understanding is that a blog invites commentary, whereas a wiki invites collaboration. One of my co-workers (a Math teacher) is off at a weeklong workshop using Google. Today, she shared a website with me that she created in her course. Oddly enough, even though I am aware that the sample forms found in Google sites templates are openly shared, I almost found myself completing one on her website, just to see what happens, but I stopped myself.
