Being much more successful in a lake than Colin was. This picture of Colin is when he was 3 months old - I'm guessing I'm around the same age? I'm older in this picture than Colin currently is, but I think I'll see that face in the future. This makes me chuckle because we are in ALMOST the same position. Loving the lake - I hope Colin is as receptive!

Friday, May 15, 2015. The way back machine. We planned this trip around my friend Selena's wedding. We didn't think we could handle an 8 hr flight with Colin from Chicago to Honolulu, so we cushioned a trip to Arizona around it so that it could be taken down to a 6 hr flight instead. I was terrified. Reading books with Dada and Grandpa. Grandpa carrying the elephant bag. We have arrived in Honolulu! Lucky us hanging more in the airport waiting for our flight to Kauai. Conked out after all the travels.

Thursday, November 7, 2013. We managed to sneak them in before we left for NOLA which I think is mighty impressive. What's new on the 7 month front? He enjoyed time with grandparents, aunts, and great grandma - so I think it was a good time for all. And of course the last night he only woke up ONCE in the middle of the night! Wednesday, October 1, 2014. That moment where you realize, maybe I'm just a little TOO laid back as a parent. That I didn't remember to ask the doctor about it at his 18 month check up 2 weeks ago. Oh well, I guess you live and you learn. Hopefully it's nothing that makes me feel worse for not taking him in before, just the run of the mill allergies (do toddlers have the ability to have allergies yet? Tuesday, October 22, 2013. I really like pumpkins, and I really like going to pumpkin patches. Now it's much more fun because I have a little person that I can make take pictures, unlike the big person that I can barely drag out to go with me (cough. John. cough). Thursday, February 20, 2014. This pretty much sums it up. I remember making it to a nursing moms group during my maternity leave, and Colin freaked out and I was embarrassed and felt like I was doing something wrong and I couldn't understand why he was always crying and I panicked. That was when a lovely woman brought out the exercise ball and had me sit on it and within minutes he was out. So began my journey of strengthening my core while calming my baby. Tuesday, February 11, 2014. It's all the rage.
