What is a Meeting? An SAA group consists of two or more individuals who, using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of SAA, meet regularly for the purpose of recovering from their addictive sexual behavior. At our meetings, we read SAA literature and share our experience, strength, and hope with each other, focusing on how the SAA program of recovery works in our lives. SAA meetings are free and are run by its members. Content taken from Sex Addicts Anonymous. Southern Arizona Meeting List.

12 Steps of SAA*. We admitted we were powerless over our compulsive sexual behavior, that our lives had become unmanageable. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God, as we understood God. Made a searching a fearless moral inventory of ourselves. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings.

Our members have found that service becomes essential to their recovery program. Service can be as simple as leading a meeting, arriving early to help set up a meeting, or staying late to help clean up. Every meeting has other service positions available including representing the meeting at Intergroup, managing the meeting phone list, treasurer, recorder, and literature representative. Southern Arizona Intergroup of SAA meets the first Thursday of each month at. Southern Arizona Meeting List.

12 Traditions of SAA*. Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon SAA unity. For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority - a loving God as expressed in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern. The only requirement for SAA membership is a desire to stop addictive sexual behavior. Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or SAA as a whole. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our tradition...
