Not Dead Yet: January 2013
http://tjmadden.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Patrick opening his Christmas present. Every year I try to have a little fun with Christmas presents. Last year I gave Rachel a bunch of video cables and a note that said "I always support your dreams". She talked April into buying a projector and texted me that her dream was to show movies. It got a lot of use. This year I packed Patrick's gift of a small XBox HD in a large box with a bunch of other stuff I found around the house. This is the video I took of him opening it:.

Not Dead Yet: Phone
http://tjmadden.blogspot.com/2014/09/phone.html
Thursday, September 11, 2014. My Android phone just went dead in the middle of a call. I do not know why. I thought about opening it up and popping the battery out, but the case bent a lot when I tried and I was afraid I might break it. I brought it to the Verizon store and popping the battery is exactly what the guy did. I am eligible for an upgrade in December. This week. Again, not a whole lot to be impressed with. Not Dead Yet: October 2011
http://tjmadden.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 18, 2011. I finished watching the last DVD of Voyagers! I also bought a DVD of A More Perfect Union: America Becomes A Nation. It's a really good story of the Constitutional Convention especially considering it was from BYU :). Shot on location with excellent acting. I highly recommend it. Posted by Not Yet Dead. Not Dead Yet: November 2011
http://tjmadden.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 02, 2011. Patrick did a little worse this year by his standards. He went to Owen’s house, which is a little isolated. He didn’t get as much candy as Thomas because the houses were fewer. He wanted to continue trick or treating around our house but by then it was after 9 o’clock and we refused. He did get dinner at a local restaurant. Rachel spent the evening at a friend’s house watching movies. She’s done with trick or treating. Posted by Not Yet Dead. Links to this post.

Not Dead Yet: St Louis
http://tjmadden.blogspot.com/2014/09/st-louis.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2014. I took a business trip to st. Louis this week. I arrived a day early and walked the Katey trail down by the Missouri river. It an old rail line converted in the 80's. Coming from Nebraska it was strange and wonderful to see so many trees. Posted by Not Yet Dead. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Living in the area. Not Dead Yet: July 2012
http://tjmadden.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 09, 2012. I like that blogging is passé now. I can write about things and nobody will read them although I should keep in mind it’s still public. As I write this, a hawk is circling outside my backyard. It screams every 30 seconds, at what I do not know. This is the obsession that the past was better. I’m not immune to it, but I do analyze it and list the pros and cons. Mom and Dad were alive. I miss them now but there are always memories. I will close by mentioning I was 27 in 1992.

Not Dead Yet: December 2011
http://tjmadden.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 06, 2011. I love to hear other's perspectives on things. I often ask for them in Facebook comments. The past few weeks have brought some interesting views. The BNSF railroad runs though Scottbluff and there are five railroad crossings. A few weeks ago they closed four of them. At least one was in bad need of repair. This sent a lot of people into ranting, like (WARNING: PICTURES OF DEAD ANIMALS) Rich here. Posted by Not Yet Dead. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Not Dead Yet: Living in the area
http://tjmadden.blogspot.com/2014/09/living-in-area.html
Sunday, September 07, 2014. Living in the area. A friend on Facebook challenged people to come up with positive things about living in Scottsbluff. I did a list of lack of negatives from other areas:. The air is clear year around , not brown or grey. I've lived in places where you could see the air at certain times of the year. I've enver sat at an intersection and had the light cycle red-green-yellow-red three or four times before I was able to make it through. Hurricane season is an abstract concept.
