I live in the S.E. of England in Leatherhead near Jctn.9 of the M25 motorway. My station is located in a 1st Floor Flat. My Transceiver is an Icom IC-746 with an hm-36 mic. Which incorporates a fan. BPSK is a preffered data mode for me and the free s. Oftware called Ham Radio Deluxe. Tal master 780 controls my Transceiver very well. E European PSK Club. From the ground Up.

I have installed a Moonraker BKIT-S Rail mount bracket on my balcony hand rail which acts as earth. I cut the plug off the coax tso that I could get it through to inside. M0ZEH antennas and associated stuff. Wednesday, 21 March 2012. The rise and fall of a dipole. Friday July 31st 2009, I tried tightening the guy rope and it snapped, same reason as before. I must get some stronger cord! 3-5-2010 strong gusts snapped the short dipole wire at the point of connection to the ladder line. M0ZEH antennas and associated stuff. Thursday, 2 July 2009. NVIS Fence Top Dipole for 80m band. I made one and it works. It has a 3.65 MHz centre frequency and works across all of the 80m band. The centre fed dipole is mounted above my fence average height is 2.2m. Our back garden is spilt into two parts, with shrubs and a short wall running between two fences at the sides of the plot. The layout looks like the model below. 1:1 balun at feed point of dipole made from coax. See it here. EX 6 3 18 0 1 0.

M0ZEH antennas and associated stuff. Saturday, 30 January 2010. Choke for 80m Band on NVIS 1/2 Wave Dipole. Some call it an ugly Balun. I don't think so though. I used some old drain pipe 70mm diameter and wound 39 turns of RG. 58 coax round it. The choke works really well on 80 and noise went from S5 to S0 just what I hoped for. Note the Shroud over the RG. The station is located in the uk Locator:IO91uh. Monday, 14 July 2008. Icom PS-85 DC Power Supply. Output: 13.8 V DC (20 A max.). 60mm sq. 25mm deep. DC 12V, 0.14A, 1.68W. The fan I added a 39 ohm resistor in series with it (gold resistor on the chassis). The rating is way over but it was lying around doing nothing. The airflow is still pretty good and the noise from the fan is less than before, job done. Power Supply Output Connector. Viewed from plug rear. Ten people who speak make more noise.

Ok some 2 tons of MOT1 here with sand for blinding all on top of Geotextile and wood getting ready for concrete pour. 4" crushed rock and 4" concrete butted up to existing 6'x8' concrete base. 3-7-2011 the concrete was layed with the help of my brother-in-law John.
