Friday, November 6, 2009. 8220;Elizabeth; The Golden Age”. In this post I will write about my own understanding of Elizabeth’s reign and its importance for the British culture and history. That is why Philip II declared the war to. England and to get the control of the new world. Another problem was that. Wanted Queen Elizabeth throne so, she tried to get rid of Elizabeth. Culture & Civilization: Culture Questionnarie
http://catolin.blogspot.com/2009/09/culture-questionnarie.html
Wednesday, September 23, 2009. This post wil be about my experience doing the field work about culture. During the survey differents tendencies and points of view were exposed in the answers of people related to interests, knowledge of the country, typical customs, language and so on. In general, I was very surprised to know that the most difficult answer was about how would you define "culture". Only a few words people could said about it. Why does this happen? Thursday, October 8, 2009. 8220;Natives and Immigrants”. Let me write my reflection about the natives and immigrants in the formation of the United Kingdom. Over the centuries, immigrants and natives have enriched British culture bringing with them different ways of living. B-comingRomy: Modern Times
http://b-comingromy.blogspot.com/2009/11/modern-times.html
Sunday, 15 November 2009. First of all I would like to say that I don't fully understand this period but what I can say about this film and period of time is that the main thing that I can appreciate is the industrialization. That was the reason of those strikes that happened: the unfairness. Here began the "boom" of machines which was the reason why so many people was afraid of losing their jobs , because machines came o replace men's work. I liked it a lot. B-comingRomy: Tolerance and History
http://b-comingromy.blogspot.com/2009/12/tolerance-and-history.html
Friday, 4 December 2009. The film “Elizabeth the golden age” shows pretty much what my aim is: To show you genuine tolerance and that it can be usefully used with a certain purpose. First of all I will mention some facts that happened during the Elizabethan time and I will relate those topics with Tolerance. Then I will express my point of view about the main topics and if they are actually important for us, as teachers, to consider nowadays. So, as Queen Elizabeth we have to have tolerance. The Eliz...
