Friday, July 20, 2012. Last Day of School. This was the first day of school. And this was the last! I can not believe how grown up she is now, and I am in denial that I have a second grader! Here are some things about Makayla. Her favorite foods are chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese. Her best friend is Savanna. She loves to color. She loves candy (that was her addition). She is learning to read and is doing a great job. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. She likes to dance around the house.

Wednesday, March 20, 2013. I can not believe our beautiful baby is already a year! I have been horrible about posting about her growth and I feel horrible. She has been such a good baby and is happy and fun. We recently turned her carseat to be front facing, as you can see by the picture she loves it! She crawls like a mad-woman, pulls herself to standing to anything stationary and walks along our couch. She loves Makayla and Micah and follows them around to play. She says lots of words. A Load Of Craft.

Tuesday, December 6, 2011. I have a confession . Well the past 14 months have been peanut butter free at our house and I will admit, I MISS PEANUT BUTTER! Although maybe it would have been better not to find them lol! Nutella Muddy Buddies (this is for a half batch). 5 C Rice Chex. 1/2 C Chocolate Chips. 3/4 C Powdered Sugar. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Field Trip to the Zoo. I was lucky to go on the last field trip of the year to the zoo with the Mill Creek Elementary first grade. We went to Liberty Park and ate lunch then the kids played on their awesome playground for a little bit. Then we headed to the zoo. It was a beautiful day but very hot! The tigers were very sleepy. Thursday, April 12, 2012. There is a crab in my ear . We have a bag of shells that we were given as a souvenir. From Hawaii. It has been in a closet and we were looking at them the week Madison was born. Micah loves them and was showing them to me and telling me that crabs live in those shells. We had just watched a show that talked about hermit crabs. I was impressed that he made the connection so I told him he did a good job and that he was super smart. The crab is gone! Thursday, June 20, 2013. 8 Is Great and Miracles. Sweet Makayla turned 8 November 17th. Where does time go? She has grown and developed into such a sweet and loving little girl. She is the best big sister and Micah and Madison sure love her. She was so excited to be baptized. It was wonderful to watch her enter the font with Clint and feel the Spirit so strong. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. I just realized I never posted the pictures of how we told our families we were going to have a baby. At our monthly get together we told everyone we wanted to take a family picture. Clint was behind the camera except at my parents house where he was home sick. Once everyone was ready he said,. The Andrews Family: Makayla's Surgery

Thursday, December 20, 2012. In the end of June we had an exploratory surgery on Makayla's left ear. We did the same surgery 2 years ago on her right ear and the hearing actually improved on that side. We are still hoping for similar results but it took lots of time.
