Wednesday, March 10, 2010. I needed a new post. Something to focus on the positive. Thought I'd share what we've been doing lately. T at District Honor Band playing her oboe. Little league b-ball games. BIG league b-ball games. C singing with the AE Phillips choir (mulitple performances/competition over last 2 months). A' playing the tuba in the Jr High District Honor Band (sorry a little fuzzy-took it from about 100 yards away). I don't know about you but this mom is worn out! May 4, 2010 at 12:48 PM.

Sunday, May 9, 2010. I got a little inspiration recently. I saw this birdbath at WalMart. I instantly loved it but saw that it had real potential. My Mom and partner in crime came to visit and caught the vision with me. We have never made a tile mosaic before so this was a. Project for a couple of beginners. We searched high and low for varied tiles and ceramic dishes at thrift stores that we could smash to bits in order to create something FABULOUS! This is the underside of the bowl. What do you think?

Friday, July 2, 2010. Today we went berry pickin'. It was a cool 85 degrees. So we went to Pop's Blueberry Farm and picked 2 gallons of fresh, ripe, sweet Blueberries! I have always thought blueberries were tart because I have never eaten a ripe berry. Wow! What a pleasant surprise to learn that blueberries are actually really sweet and very yummy! Saturday, September 11, 2010. The family joined the thousands for C and P's first cross country race this season. Curtis, A and T are 'outstanding in their field' ;). Their first race was last weekend. This is P's first 1 mile race. Notice the untied shoe. He also is 18 hours past a 103 degree fever. He still finished 13th. Yup- another 95 degree day. Monday, June 14, 2010. Last night I was tickling 'P' and unfortunately I got his big toe in my right eyeball! I have an eyeball bandaid in the form of a contact lens and anesthetic eye drops to help it heal. OUCH! Saturday, June 5, 2010. So in we went to the salon and her hair was long enough to donate to Locks of Love (minimum 10" donation). How cute is that girl? Man, I think she grew up right before my eyes! Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Monday, March 8, 2010. This is a fair warning. I had a small tragedy today and I'm feeling quite bad for myself. If you have eaten then. Wait to look at this post. This morning I was folding blankets and as I put the last one on the couch i kicked the bottom of the couch. The problem was the ONLY thing that kicked the couch was my toenail! It just about brought me to my knees! Upon further inspection, I discovered that I completely tore my nail off except for one little corner.EEEEEWWWW! YOU are the BEST!
