We decided to do a New Year's date swap with our friends Todd and Ashley. We watched their kids Thursday night and then Friday night, Ashley's mom watch all 4 kids so we could all go out! Thursday, November 15, 2012. It is finally finished! I am so pleased at how Elizabeth's nursery turned out. All it is missing is her! I knew exactly what I wanted over the window but couldn't find it so Wesley built this perfect window treatment. Kate used her creative talent to make the Elizabeth canvas which is the perfect touch! Here's a sampling of what I got:. Sonic drink; Starbucks drink (Wesley used this for me since love the regular coffee (not very exciting) and he was able to get a fancy treat free! Monday, November 12, 2012. This morning we headed to Northpoint Community church to witness the baptism of our dear friend, Gerald. Gerald was one of the first teenagers Wesley met while he was the Teen Director at the Alpharetta YMCA and now, Gerald is the Teen Director at the same Y! It has been so wonderful to see the amazing mentor relationship/ friendship that has developed between Wesley and Gerald. We all four love Mr. Gerald and I am so glad we were on hand to witness this day! 1st Days of School.

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. This afternoon during rest, I got a surprise phone call. My dad was "in the area" (aka 2 hours away in Cleveland, TN) and wanted to see if we were up for a visitor! Because it is Mission: Atlanta week, I made sure Wesley was okay with our ditching the evening activity (he was) and Jackson, Philip and I waited on Pop-Pop to arrive.
