Saturday, November 11, 2017. US93: First and Last Chance At The Border. Happy and I had a leisurely morning in Whitefish, visiting with fellow human and canine travelers. After coffee and breakfast, we set out on US93 for the final stint to the border. The sky was heavily overcast so the photos are a bit lame, but the road was clear and we had a nice 60 mile drive. One sign that is very prominent announces the presence of an epic establishment. US93 is a good highway and I'm glad to have driven its lengt...

Macgellan: Happy: Reunion With Rose!

http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2014/11/happy-reunion-with-rose.html

Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Happy: Reunion With Rose! 8230; I'm always Happy. Today I'm happy because I had a reunion with Rose! Macgellan and I were driving around today when he said, "I've got a surprise for you Happy dog! The next thing I know, we've pulled into my favorite dog park and I'm muzzle to muzzle with Rose, my old pack mate and doghouse neighbor at SP Kennel. It was great to have a reunion with Rose today, and I hope we visit each other again soon! Labels: Happy The Sled Dog. May - August...

Macgellan: Kentucky Snow Bound!

http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2015/02/kentucky-snow-bound.html

Tuesday, February 17, 2015. It was a bit of a grind, but Happy and I made the two-week transit from Seattle to Kentucky in good order. Heading south through California before heading east turned out to be a good plan. The weather held up quite well except for a few days of challenging cross-winds on the interstate, and we even got to enjoy some temps in the 70s along the southern portion of our drive. Glad you had a safe trip Mac. I bet Happy did her happy dance when she saw all that snow to play in.

Macgellan: Haul Road - Prudhoe Bay

http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2010/06/haul-road-prudhoe-bay.html

Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Haul Road - Prudhoe Bay. If you're going to drive to Prudhoe Bay, "just getting there" had better be the only reward you seek, because there's not much else there to see or do. As you enter the area, you are greeted by immense compounds of machinery and equipment. This is, after all, really nothing but a working oil field, and they've got all. The stuff there for it. Has gotten me into! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The World Of Macgellan. Happy The Sled Dog. Sled dogs of SP...

Macgellan: Introducing The Camper Sled

http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2011/07/introducing-camper-sled.html

Friday, July 29, 2011. Introducing The Camper Sled. I've decided that it's time to hit the road again, on what I expect will be a very long-distance road trip. I'll post some details about that soon, but for now just want to show you yet another modification I've done to my "Road Rig.". Also, because there's nothing easier than a truck camper for getting in and out of camping spaces, it's about as simple and efficient as it gets! I was thinking about this in terms of my upcoming long-distance, long-term ...

Macgellan: Happy The Sled Dog

http://macgellan.blogspot.com/p/happy-sled-dog.html

Happy The Sled Dog. I'm Happy. I'm always Happy. That's why they call me Happy! My full name is "Happy The Sled Dog" and here's my story:. I may not look like an Alaksan Husky sled dog, but I am one! I was born in a remote Alaskan village sometime in 2005. My mother was a single mom, working as a trap-line dog for a local family. All of a sudden, this really nice lady musher pulled her team up next to our dog yard, so I danced and waved to her. She smiled at me and said, "Look at you, happy dog! It turns...

David P. Reinhardt: Expertise

http://dprhino.blogspot.com/p/expertise.html

Most of what I know comes from my life-long study of nature:. Complex adaptive systems, evolution, optimization, uncertainty, scarcity, niches, robustness, competition and so on. I've extensively explored the world's latitudes and ecosystems, constantly synthesizing my observations of objective reality, cause and effect, unintended consequences, order and chaos, symbiosis, value chains, etc. Much of the rest of what I know comes from many years of working with people:. In addition, my philosophical toolb...

David P. Reinhardt: Core Topics

http://dprhino.blogspot.com/p/core-topics.html

Here is a very. Broad outline and sequence of the core topics. That I have developed and most frequently use in my work with clients:. What you want until you. My "job one" with clients is to help them clarify their intent, to work with them on critical questions about what they really want - and why - until they have answers they can confidently and productively build on over the long-term. It always surprises me when people talk about "leaders" as if they are a separate and distinct category of human b...

David P. Reinhardt: Consulting

http://dprhino.blogspot.com/p/consulting.html

Individual, one-on-one consulting is the "long-form" and core of my work. Consulting engagements are customized to help you get what you want in life. Although I am most often engaged to help with business-related issues, my work regularly encompasses a much broader range of issues, including career changes, civic involvement, personal pursuits, co-worker conflicts, going to college, retirement transition and even family dynamics. Your focus is my focus! And you'll see what I mean! We may meet for just a...

David P. Reinhardt: Training

http://dprhino.blogspot.com/p/training.html

Small group training is the "medium-form" and more in-depth facet of my work. Training engagements go beyond listening and involve full participation. Depending on the group, its size, the amount of time available and especially its interests, my training sessions - seminars and retreats - take participants from introduction of concepts to practical, hands-on utilization. The focus is on maximum learning in the minimum time. Generally built around one (or sometimes more) of my core topics. Provide suffic...

David P. Reinhardt: Policies

http://dprhino.blogspot.com/p/policies.html

Confidentiality is the fundamental policy of my work. I can't be helpful to my clients without their full, truthful disclosure. Confidentiality is essential for trust. Rule of my work is. I do not talk about my clients. Rule of my work is. I. Talk about my clients! Our "first contact" is at no obligation to you. My work is different - even unusual - and I realize that you may have little idea what you'll be getting. Therefore, our first meeting carries no obligation on your part to pay me. All fees will ...

David P. Reinhardt: Teaching

http://dprhino.blogspot.com/p/teaching.html

Classroom teaching is the "linear-form" and most structured style of my work. My primary course - "Strategy and Leadership" - is designed to teach participants a coherent, comprehensive approach to thinking and acting as effective leaders. Much of what I typically teach clients over the course of long-term engagements is focused and structured into this concise program. The power of the program stems from its sequential presentation of core topics. And the integration of numerous universal concepts.

I feel so honored to be of counsel to people who so highly value who I am and what I do. It is profoundly meaningful and very rewarding for me to witness the peace of mind, self-confidence, satisfaction, enthusiasm, sense of life and results that my clients create for themselves! Here's what a few of my clients have to say about me:. 8211; B. K., Internet Entrepreneur. What is your image of success? What are you doing to get there? 8211; A.Z., Professional Racing Sled Dog Musher. You pay for my brain,.
