Haud Vereor , Haud Desiderium. May 6th, 2012 at 12:22 PM. Having never visited Wales before, it was about time that changed. I bring back two main realisations from the trip. 1 Wales (near Snowdonia National Park anyway) doesn't have flat space, everywhere is mountains and hills. 2 Every field (and some roads and paths) have sheep in/on them. The weather was indecisive, but that didn't matter much. We stayed in an awesome country club called Plas Talgarth. We dropped in at the Halo Factory Shop.

August 6, 2013. Riding to Wales (part 1). Day 1 began after we eventually got on a train to escape London, before we set off on our 100 mile first leg to Pete’s parents’ house. Unusually hot summer weather was promised for the entire week, and we baked for those 100 miles, with the company of screeching Kites as we leisurely peddled our way through the Chilterns. The windmill at Brill. Valley of the Kites. I feel like the Long Mynd is a bit of a hidden gem. It is easily the most scenic bit of road I ...
