Hannah for Christmas / Fowlkes Family of 5. Our journey from our firstborn, Jaycie, to the child of our hearts from China, Hannah, and on to Will ever after. Monday, January 18, 2010. Our first snow was a nice one but a small one. Jaycie loved falling down in it (on purpose), Hannah loved eating it (no matter what surface it fell on),. And Will loved exploring it (totally uninhibited by having to wear his sister's lavender snowsuit). Hooray for snow! He sizes up the goal. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Thread to Mylee: April 2008
http://thethreadtomylee.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Welcome to our blog "The Thread to Mylee"! Let me start by telling you a little bit about how we ventured into this journey called adoption. My name is Gina Farmer and my husband is Donnie. We have 3 biological children; Whitney (22), Dillon (14) and Peyton (11), and an adopted daughter from China, Maci (2). But how could we afford this? We knew that if God had spoke to our hearts to adopt, He would take care of the financial end of it. Philippians 4:19 says. Debbie Wankel, a very...

The Thread to Mylee: A DAY AT THE BEACH.....
http://thethreadtomylee.blogspot.com/2009/08/day-at-beach.html
Saturday, August 8, 2009. A DAY AT THE BEACH. At 27 days old, Mylee got to go to the beach for the first time! It looks like she pretty much took it easy and relaxed most of the day. Except for when Cheryl dipped her feet in the ocean for the first time.she obviously didn't like that at all! But just look at the picture of Cheryl holding her and letting her know it will be alright! Donnie and I thank God for the Dunn's each and every day and their willingness to take care of Mylee until we go to Taiwan!

The Thread to Mylee: PRETTY IN PINK.....
http://thethreadtomylee.blogspot.com/2009/09/pretty-in-pink.html
Friday, September 25, 2009. The pink dress was way too big so Cheryl saved it for Mylee until she grew into it. This past Sunday Mylee wore that pretty little pink dress to church! I think she looks absolutely adorable! My sweet little angel. This comment has been removed by a blog administrator. November 21, 2009 at 11:28 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, January 10, 2009. GOD IS SO GOOD. Our family and friends had selflessly helped us and were still helping us raise money for this adoption.and now those funds were gone! What were we going to do? Through endless prayer and lots of support we sent our application in to another agency. But, I was still very uneasy about the finances. Only through a miracle would we be able to afford this. But you know what? God sent me an angel.and her name is Cheryl Dunn! I had been praying for God to please make...
