It's a private school a little further away from home, but it is a great place for them to be and we are really happy there so far. Monday, December 28, 2009. Conclusion of the family vacation reunion. This is the Parker iphone picture. Missing from the photo is me, taking the picture with my iphone. :). This day we spent at Universal Studios. I haven't been here since I was a little girl - and a lot has changed. It was a great day, beautiful weather and short lines. Sunday, July 11, 2010. It's hard to believe we spent 2 weeks in Las Vegas and Utah and these pictures are all I have to prove it. Despite that, we had a splendid time and got to see lots of family and friends. The cousin time was the best! We got to see my rockstar nephew Liam compete in a swim meet. Friday, May 14, 2010. One of the things I've come to love most about living in Hawaii is the May Day celebration each Spring. In Hawaii May Day is a celebration and display of native Hawaiian culture. The school kids work and rehearse for months to prepare and perform dances, chants, songs, and Hula for this event. Parents, Aunties, Uncles, grandparents come early in the morning to save a seat and watch this event. My kid was the cutest one. :). Veda's fabulous 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Kakinami.

Friday, February 12, 2010. Finally, we have eggs! Long awaited event happened last week - our chickens started laying! Veda and Eve take turns doing the chicken chores in the morning before school, now which includes collecting the eggs. It's been a great project for them. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. The best Christmas pageant ever. This is Eve's preschool Christmas pageant. She is the angel on the far right (the cutest one). They sang cute songs and looked absolutely adorable! Afterwards, they had a birthday party for baby Jesus. Friday, January 1, 2010. New Year's camping trip. Monday, September 26, 2011. Summer 2011 Part 3, Big Talk and Suzuki. Veda and I hit the road with our fiddles and headed to California to stay with our dear friends and attend a Suzuki institute. Besides being a great educational and musical experience, we got to have lots of mommy daughter time together and that was the best part. Veda and Sydney, violin and piano virtuosos in the making in their matching concert outfits. As a bonus, I got to see Taylor's band, Big Talk perform in LA. Summer 2011 Part 2.
