Today we had an ultrasound and he is a good five pounds now, maybe a little more. He looks great, and seeing him, hearing him, and counting movements has me falling in love with him more and more. Sunday, February 5, 2012. A few weeks ago as I got off the phone with a best friend from high school, Avery asked me who I was talking to. She has to know EVERYTHING). Our conversation continued a little longer and then I asked Avery who her Best Friend was; without hesitation she replied: "oh mom that's easy, Ansley.". She has asked me multiple times this week, " when is Ansley going to wake up from her nap? I want her to play with me.". I can't put into words how happy this makes me :).

Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Our sweet little guy came very peacefully and uneventfully into the world on February 22, 2013. We can not get enough of this sweet and 100% healthy little man! Now brace yourselves, what you're about to read is seriously the BEST birth story EVER! It was a nice reunion and they could not wait to see Ansley! I told them I couldn't believe they remembered us and they said they don't have many incidents like ours and it would be hard to forget! We are all so in love with him!

Friday, August 24, 2012. I really want to get back into the blogging world! Ok now enough complaining cause this week has been a breath of fresh air! I feel like this is the start of a new phase in our life! Firstly-Joey passed his Qualifier earlier this month and NEVER has to take another course for the rest of his PhD career. Now its hardcore research time(which he loves so he is SUPER excited the course part has come to an end! We're pretty proud of him! My baby girl started Pre-K! First Day of School.

Monday, August 29, 2011. I know my blog posting has been scarce. I have a lot to catch up on. This is why its hard to get caught up with anything-. I walked downstairs for a second to get my clothes out of the dryer and I come up to find. 2 girls playing in the water. Emptying the soap dispenser. And half a tube of toothpaste in the sink. I heard some mischievous giggling as I was walking up the stairs, peaked in on them and opted to grab the camera before they had to help clean it all up:).

To this end, we develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms for large-scale analysis of neural data, and collaborate with experimental laboratories performing measurements of neural activity and behaviour.
