Friday, April 29, 2011. The Royal Wedding of 2011 was an Event that I will never forget! Kyla came over around midnight and we got the party started! We waited hours to see His Royal Highness arrive and the Wedding begin and it was worth it! Kyla brought over sugar cookies that she made from scratch and they tasted even better than these little decadents look! Catherine looked so beautiful in her dress. It was so much fun to watch the T.V. in anticipation! The Ring, not Rings! Apparently she wore a dress...

Scottie's Talking Taste Buds. Because my taste buds are better than yours. Newer posts →. Spinelli’s Deli- Victorian Village. April 6, 2011. Which is the turkey sandwich pictured. I felt like getting a little crazy on this visit and went with Spinelli’s Spicy Beef sandwich, which consists of steak, jalapeno bacon, grilled onions and mushrooms, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and a mild horseradish mayo typically on an italian roll. Until my next food adventure, remember to support your local restaurants.

Dandy's Green Scene: August 2013
http://dandysgreenscene.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 29, 2013. August 29, 2013. For stop #2 on the Short North Food Tour, I stopped in to Mac's Cafe http:/ www.macscafe.com/. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for loud tables full of drunk guys tonight, so this review may be biased by that. On the other hand, that may be the norm here. I asked about the fried green beans, which I'd seen on an online menu, but the server said they had discontinued them a year ago and that it's still requested regularly. Why do restaurants do that? On this seco...

http://learningthroughfood.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 10 April 2014. Happy First Birthday, Alfie's! Evening greetings, foodies and food-consumers alike! Despite the handful of other restaurant experiences I know I need to write about, I feel compelled to jump ahead and share with you my experience this evening back in Granville, as this is obviously freshest on my mind. Tonights attention is being duly paid to Alfies Wholesome Food. Which held its first birthday party today. Perhaps you may remember my blog post of Alfies opening day last year.

Learning through Food: Quick Notes from the Short North: Arch City and Mac's
http://learningthroughfood.blogspot.com/2014/04/quick-notes-arch-city-macs.html
Thursday, 3 April 2014. Quick Notes from the Short North: Arch City and Mac's. In mid-March, the newest group of incoming anthropology fellowship recipients came to visit the department [as an aside, I can't believe it's been a year since I was in their shoes]. On the evening prior to their campus tour, they met with other graduate students at Arch City Tavern (862 N High St). The bar, which opened a bit over a year ago. Has been named as " definitively 'Columbus'. The following day, Brianne and I walked...
