Taking an awful long time to learn English? Should I read something about it? Happe...

Our life of home learning on the lake. Our Choice to Homeschool. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Lessons Learned When Mom is Sick. We've all come to a place in my family where we realize that, at the same time that we are actively working to heal the effects of this Rheumatoid Arthritis. And its auto-immune pals, we are also living with it. Well, maybe it will. And maybe that's not altogether a bad thing. 1 They are learning to wait. Bonus lesson: I have also recently discovered that my kids suddenly know a lot m...

Our life of home learning on the lake. Our Choice to Homeschool. Monday, May 5, 2014. The School that has my Daughter Begging for More. My eldest has enrolled in a boarding school. She lives in a house on campus, is earning an "A" average, and prefers to spend even her free time engrossed in the material. Magically, she does all this alongside her regular homeschooling curriculum and without spending one moment away from home. Oh, and she owns an owl. My daughter is in Gryffindor. Our life of home learning on the lake. Our Choice to Homeschool. Thursday, October 31, 2013. I continue to wrestle with clothing, though not my own. I have read so many well thought out blog posts and their accompanying Facebook discussions about girls and selfies, girls and sexy Halloween costumes, girls and their cartoon role models, girls and the slutty clothing marketed to them.
