What you read here will probably change your life. Friday, September 18, 2009. Life and love were easier when we were kids. My Aunt Cheryl posted this picture on her blog the other day, and I just think it is hilarious. Not the beautiful blond baby sitting on her mom's lap- there's nothing funny about that breathtaking child- but the dark-haired sister sitting next to her cracks me up. Seen such a true expression of contentment and happiness? Seriously, though, I love this picture and everyone in it!

What you read here will probably change your life. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Last fall I had the pleasure of spending time in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for my graduate school orientation. It was a beautiful town, friendly in its greenness and in the open, easy smiles of its people. Lazy Southern electricity, inspired by the humid heat and the newly born, wide-eyed ambitions of thousands of fresh-faced college students, buzzed through the heavy air, humming with a grace and charm as old as Alabama. Last night, a.

I spent afternoon sorting boxes of artifacts gathered and never labeled in the 1970s, and then hauling buckets of water away from the. Wow, I'm typing a lot in parentheses this post. Monday, February 15, 2010. Just Call Me Hexxusssssss. Because who even needs rainforests anyway? Most people say that trees are a good thing. And that rainforests are endangered. But "I see the world and all the creatures in it, I suck 'em dry and spit 'em out like spinach, 'Cause greedy human beings will always lend a hand with the destruction of this worthless jungle land.". Am I a greedy human being sucking the the world dry? Am I spitting it out like spinach? Monday, February 15, 2010. And so, to sum...

Saturday, February 13, 2010. We've Been "Bad".My, Oh My! Soapparently my roommate and I are being punished- by our other roommate. Yeah. You heard me right- PUNISHED! We don't like living in a daycare and I guess that she's responding to our frustration regarding such. That, and we actually get along with each other. Jealous perhaps? No one's punished me or told me what to do since high school- and even then it didn't go over so well. And does she think I'm going to. Saturday, February 13, 2010. And so, ...

Monday, November 23, 2009. Ode to Federal Courts. Class is boring, I am snoring. I must return to bed this morning. I would rather read some Willa Cather,. For what I'm reading now's just blather. I do not care for habeas corpus. I'd rather go swim with a porpoise. Rasul and Hamdi and Padilla,. Can't keep my brain engaged- so SEE YA. Aren't you glad I'm good at rhyming? At least I haven't started "miming."). This class for me has become painful. And thus you get this silly brainful. Miguel de Cervantes,.

Friday, September 25, 2009. To the girl sitting next to me in class. Comes in 10-12 minutes late. Day, flings her stuff everywhere, and takes another 5 [loud] minutes to get situated;. Coughs her lungs up loudly during the entire class and announces to those of us in close proximity to her that the doctors don't know what's wrong with her and that she's probably dying;. Often comes to class with just a notebook, but not her laptop, textbook OR even a pen, and then asks to borrow mine;. Tell her your lapt...

Sunday, August 23, 2009. This country takes FOREVER to drive across. I don't know what those pioneers were thinking WALKING across the entire thing. Ugh. That being said.I think it's something everyone should do at least once. You don't realize just how big this country is until you drive across and see it all. It's quite something to see the landscape change from what we have on the East Coast and this old Utah. More to come later. Sunday, August 23, 2009. August 23, 2009 at 7:56 PM. Its about damn time!
