In A Perfect World.NOT! My life as it is.one breath at a time. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. We set out early that Saturday morning.the meeting time and place had been arranged. My truck, loaded with all the "extra" christmas decorations I had "collected" over the years. Ladies, let me just say one thing. One of the boxes contained a lighted snowman. When the child laid eyes on the snowman her face lit up like she'd just seen Santa! She asked my son if he really was giving it to her. She ended up taking hi...

In A Perfect World.NOT! My life as it is.one breath at a time. Monday, August 17, 2009. Back to normal.almost! Well, my brother has returned home. After two weeks of visiting, he was ready to leave! Ready to return to his own family and start the process of getting his health on track. I think he got the answers he was looking for while he was here. At least, I hope so. How can you help someone, who doesn't want to change their life? How do you make sense of it all? Part of me is angry about how things w...

A Day in the Life.....: Adventures
http://dkwright.blogspot.com/2009/07/adventures.html
A Day in the Life. Thursday, July 09, 2009. I really didn't intend to take a blogging hiatus - it just happened! The end of the school year.aka the month of May.was super busy. I kept telling myself it would all slow down once summer got here. Not so! Speaking of swing, July 6 was the starting date for Austin's first round of tennis lessons. He's been wanting to learn for some time now and has been convinced it's easy since playing on Pawpaw's Wii! I'm looking forward to getting to know them all better.

A Day in the Life.....: April 2009
http://dkwright.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Thursday, April 23, 2009. Links to this post. Wednesday morning he was eating breakfast and turned to look around when a plane flew over. He has NEVER acknowledged anything from outside like that. This morning, he was going to push the garage door button and I said, "button." He looked at me and then the opener and said, "buttum." SWEET! It's not just about being the third child! We are very thankful to see this language improvement. He's quite proud of himself, too. Links to this post.
