Experiences of a soon-to-be homeowner…. If I had to sum up the house inspection in one word, I would use…overwhelming. Between the house, septic, water and radon, my head was spinning and my hand just kept writing checks. Whatever the inspectors pointed out gave me a heart attack and by the time it was over, I thought buying the house was out of the picture (dishwasher won’t close? Water softener being bypassed?
