curbside style: portraits of dolls
http://curbsidestyle.blogspot.com/2011/06/portraits-of-dolls.html
Thursday, June 2, 2011. I love kitchy, tourist wear dolls. Ada and I have been collecting them for a while. They don't tend to last very long because they were never deigned to be played with and it's hard to stop a 3 year old from playing with dolls in her room, but here are some recent additions and some lucky 'survivors'. I'm absolutely in love with the Polynesian dolls face, what a beauty. June 2, 2011 at 2:15 PM. What a seriously stunning collection! June 2, 2011 at 2:30 PM. June 3, 2011 at 12:28 AM.

Monday, July 26, 2010. 8 weeks old, covered in fur and very very cheeky. He looks like he should be in a toilet paper commercial or using his puppy super powers to encourage people to donate to the Guide Dogs association. Ada is completely head over heals in love, but insists on calling him 'Norgan'. Freddy likes the new chew toy, I'm sure Norgan, sorry Norman thinks the same thing about Freddy. Links to this post. Sunday, July 25, 2010. A very good week for finds, I went out with Cintia from My Poppet.

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. A new collection. of sorts. I almost doubled my folk art plate collection on the weekend. First Ms Cinti swelled the ranks with the little Russian number in the top right (the bright orange flowers on the black background) and then I found the two Norwegian 'Rosemaling' plates at Camberwell market on Sunday. It's the scale of these new Rosemaling plates that I love. They're BIG, at nearly 50cm in diameter. What are you collecting at the moment? Links to this post. I spent a prod...

Thursday, April 28, 2011. I'm not sure why, but there is just something about repetitively pulling a needle and thread through cloth that makes me want to chat. It's been yonkers since I've been to a stitch n' bitch and now that I've taken up the needle and hoop again, I feel the need to get some ladies together for some down home crafting and some not so wholesome gossip. Is it even possible to organise a stitch n' bitch that is just that, a stitch and a bitch? Links to this post. Monday, April 25, 2011.

curbside style: Shafted by Schafter
http://curbsidestyle.blogspot.com/2011/05/shafted-by-schafter.html
Tuesday, May 24, 2011. I'm not much of a Twitterer. I could, at best, be described as an inconsistent flirt, only following a select few and being followed by even less. My tweets are minimal; few and far between. So you could imagine my surprise when Zigsma. By dropping the crucial "@Uberclit" and then juxtaposing the doctored tweet against the infamous "Bindi Irwin" tweet, gave the viewer the impression that my tweet was related through time and intent to the one that saw Catherine wave adieu to her ha...

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. I've been Mrs Stitchy fingers recently, pumping out some blanket softies/cushions for my Camberwell Market. The kids have been quite kind to me and have largely left me to sew while they play (one of the benefits of them getting older I guess), it's so nice to be able to do something for myself, I just wish I didn't have to keep stopping to do housework. Links to this post. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Now I cannot speak for the legitimacy of the other tweet, but I felt the @CURBSIDESTYL...
