Monday, October 27, 2014. Mini Pumpkin (Ultrasound today showed him weighing 8 lbs 11 oz, give or take 1/2 lb). I have very little clothing that fits at this point. Stretchy pajama pants and Kory's t-shirts are my friends. Compared to pre-pregnancy days, it's awful. Compared to life with a newborn, I am probably sleeping pretty well. :). Thursday, November 20, 2014. Well, it's been just over two weeks now since Peter made his appearance into this world and I am finally getting around to writing his birth story. I mainly want to document this so I can remember it later, but I also really love reading other women's birth stories so I wanted to share mine as well. And everyone was tied up with them so we just got put in a room and we watched TV for about two hours while we waited for someone to come check us in and get things going.

He is still squishy and cuddly, but he's changing and developing so many new skills every day that it's hard to keep up. Friday, December 26, 2014. I wrote this blog last week and forgot to publish it.sleep deprivation really does a number on your brain! Despite what social media might depict, there is more to my life than being Mom to Peter. Not much more, but I am finally to a point where I feel like I can rejoin the rest of the world and not be *quite* so consumed with keeping him fed/burped/clean/alive. I'm going to do my best and not let any of these things be about Peter; we'll see how it goes. What I'm Excited About.

Thursday, August 6, 2015. 16 lb 15.5 oz (10%). He wears almost all 9 month clothing (though he still fits in the few 6-9 month outfits he has). This summer, he's rarely worn pants, socks, or shoes, so that makes getting him dressed pretty easy. I honestly thought he might be walking by now, but he's not (and I'm REALLY ok with that!
