Thursday, December 10, 2009. It's raining babies from heaven! The baby has a home now! I found a great ornament that fit her perfectly! The hard part was to take the old ornament apart . yeowch! I ended up impaling my fingers on the glass as the bottom broke off. My 2 youngest boys (4 and 5) had a blast giving mommy first aid! This would be a beautiful and unique baby gift, or a baby's first Christmas ornament! The baby measures a hair above 1 inch. The whole display measures just under 4 inches tall!

Friday, July 23, 2010. Off topic a bit. Since I somewhat un-school, I like to create life-application projects for the kids to do. A couple years ago they had to create something to sell at a local Farmer's Market and learn all about buying and selling. They still talk about it to this day! So here it is:. Thursday, November 19, 2009. Well, it's been a while again.I got busy for a few weeks and this past Monday had surgery for a deviated septum.still recovering from that and haven't done much all week. Last night I started on a larger head. This is where I am at so far. I definitly see all girl in this one. Ms Maria is one of my fellow teachers in a school in East Jakarta. She knew that I loved drawing and she liked my art works. Ms Maria asked me to draw her portrait picture on an A3 paper. She sent me her picture through Blackberry messenger. I started it by drawing her face with pencils. Then, I thickened the outline with charcoals. Labels: black and white.
