A Novel Experiment: June 2010
http://theneverendingnovel.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The Dead Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan. This novel is the sequel to The Forrest of Hands and Teeth, the debut novel by the same author. The first novel was very interesting and very depressing, but I really liked it because it was so different from other books that I've read. I read it so long ago, that I never reviewed it on here. Maybe I will later, but for now, know that I would recommend it. Back to the review! Definitely a book to escape reality with! Sunday, June 27, 2010.

Friday, January 29, 2010. 4 down, 2 to go. Four of us got the stomach flu within 4 hours of each other. Pretty awesome huh! Only two people left in our family to get it. It has been more than 4 hours. Maybe they are safe. Yes, it is the both end variety). Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I am Woman. Hear me Roar. Sort of. He gets a frowny face (for my benefit I am sure). He announces that I will need a new disposal. (No surprise to me, I am smarter than I look). Depends, says he, you have two options. They a...

A Novel Experiment: October 2009
http://theneverendingnovel.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. I really shouldn't do this, but. I am going to post another snippet from the book. The scene is fairly self explanatory. As they rounded the corner Meg slowed a bit to take in her surroundings. She gazed up at the roof lines of the old buildings. Walking along the road she loved the feel of bumpy cobble stones beneath her feet and took a deep breath trying to memorize the smell of the air which held warm bread, coffee and history. 8220;Did you see that? 8221; Anna looked at Meg.

A Novel Experiment: February 2010
http://theneverendingnovel.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 27, 2010. A good friend of mine and I have an ongoing joke about MLMs (multi level marketing companies). I thought I would share our recent correspondence about them! BTW, when are you going to create the "cool group" mlm, I want to be the first rep, that way I can get in at ground level, and really take off with it ;). I have had two requests this week from friends in (insert state) to join one. MLM people must say this to themselves each morning:. I love the MLMs! Friday, February 26...

A Novel Experiment: It's fall....
http://theneverendingnovel.blogspot.com/2010/11/its-fall.html
Thursday, November 4, 2010. Fall has been present. Many times in the past I've complained that Mother Nature went right from summer to winter, robbing us of our fall. This time around she has made up for all the stolen days of the past. When I was younger I hated fall. I didn't want the leaves to loose their green or the ground to turn cold. I wanted to always feel the warm sun and have the smell of fresh cut grass. I guess I've changed. Fall now feels like a wonderfully deep breath.

A Novel Experiment: July 2010
http://theneverendingnovel.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 15, 2010. There are times I love to be all by myself, but that rarely happens in my house. Kids run in and out all day long. Last night my husband and I counted 34 kids (ages 4 to 18) running around our yard playing night games. I set out water pitchers, cups, licorice and bags of chips and was immediately swarmed. I love it, I really do. There is an infectious energy that hums in the air when I watch memories being made before my eyes. The everyday world around me was silenced. I'll hear ...

Some days my motto is "why do today what you can put off til tomorrow! I don't advise this to just anyone. I wonder what is in my nature that tends towards putting things off until later? And I do mean spotless clean.
