Since I love the concept of the third chakra the most I’ve come up with many meditations involving strength and the sun. I may have written prior that I use to live in a tall building facing east. Every morning I would wake to the sun. It gave me such energy and vitality! On a bad day the sun would bring me strength in the morning. I would wordlessly recite this to myself:. We traveled to the beach a few weekends ago. The waves were rough, big and wonderful. For hours I swarm, surfed, and rode the waves. I let the waves swallow me. I dove through them. Madeleine Youmans was born in Seattle in 1962, moved to Ithaca, NY to get her undergraduate at Cornell in 1983, then to Los Angeles where she earned her Ph.D. in 1996, before moving to Huntsville, AL to become the Director of TESOL and ESL at UAH. Along the way, she taught many people, travelled to many countries, made many friends, and touched many lives.
