Jesus Life. College. Observations. May 5, 2014. October 19, 2015. My best friend Mattie and I will both be attending Arkansas. In closing my first post, I hope you will read more of my posts as I write them. My prayer for this blog would be that it points you to God, first and foremost. I pray that every word would be used for His glory and my life and words would point you to the most important thing…Jesus Christ. Have a great day! Current Blessings: Living for this Season. Jesus Life. College. Observations. September 9, 2014. October 19, 2015. My word this past week or so has been surrender. I have a sticky note with fully surrendered written on it that sits right next to my ever increasing college freshman to-do list. I have it written in my prayer journal. It is on the forefront of my mind with every thought and action. Little… Continue reading Fully surrendered. Fall Break: Part 2. Fall Break: Part 1. Welcome to San Francisco.

Jesus Life. College. Observations. Current Blessings: Living for this Season. May 24, 2014. October 19, 2015. I am reminded of a verse that talks about how we should not worry about tomorrow or the next day because we need to be living for today and enjoy what the Lord has for us in this exact moment. Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. -Proverbs 27:1. I leave you with one of my favorite scriptures from Ecclesiastes:. Welcome to San Francisco. August 2014 – madeline cannon

Jesus Life. College. Observations. August 5, 2014. October 19, 2015. I don’t even know where to begin when I start thinking about the summer that I had. The Lord showed me more of His heart and I saw a greater glimpse of how lost our world is. Yet good still remains and through it all, I feel as though I am a new creation that… Continue reading What a Summer! Fall Break: Part 2. Fall Break: Part 1. Welcome to San Francisco. Jesus Life. College. Observations. Fall Break: Part 2. October 20, 2015. Sadly, today was the second and last day of Fall Break! Nonetheless, it was a great long weekend filled with relaxation and fun fall activities. I feel refreshed and ready to tackle the second half of this semester! Big things are happening in the next few weeks…more tests (always), applying to nursing school (application opens… Continue reading Fall Break: Part 2. Fall Break: Part 1. October 19, 2015. Let’s See Where This Goes – mattieclairecarranza
https://mattieclairecarranza.wordpress.com/2014/05/09/lets-see-where-this-goes
May 9, 2014. May 9, 2014. Let’s See Where This Goes. These lessons that I have learned this year will thankfully carry into the next season, that being this summer and college. I have been praying about traveling to China for missions for almost two years now. Each opportunity to go has shut its door, for it has not been the Lord’s timing yet. It has been heavy on my heart to have this desire to go and to not yet be given the time to do so. I have truly wept over this fact. 8220;But for you, O Lord.

Madeline C. André. Finding meaning in forgotten things. Great Lakes, USA. October 17, 2017. October 17, 2017. A temporary structure from 1973. October 04, 2017. Situated on the banks of the greatest lake, the cottage is the archetype of "forgotten" places. Not because of its disrepair, but because of it's refusal to adapt with the rest of the world. It remains as it's always been- quiet, detached, and just far enough away. October 04, 2017.

If Mona Lisa wore a Jean Jacket…. The Confessions of a Sunglasses Hoarder. A Letter To My Loving Boyfriend…Jeans. IWish List: June 11, 2015. June 11, 2015. With 1 week left in Paris, I’ve come up with a list of items I want to add to my wardrobe for the upcoming summer months and fall (because unlike Parisians, I do sweat in 80 degree weather and find it hard to wear an oversized coat and jeans in the summer). I’ve come to terms with the culotte trend from last year and got myself to try them on...
