Some Kind of Crazy. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. IT'S ALL IN THE PERSPECTIVE. Last weekend I flew up to Utah to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. We all expected my parents to be in Denmark on their mission by now but there has been a delay with their Visas. (I will post about the trip later). Some Kind of Crazy. Thursday, August 9, 2012. OH HOW I LOVE THIS DAY! The first day of school! A day each year that I personally consider a holiday! I love the summer- the non-schedule, the sleeping in, the free-ness to get up and go, having the kids home to do fun things like swimming, baking and crafts and also to do not-so-fun things like projects and chores. But I also love when summer break is over. We had a few firsts this year too! First day of JUNIOR HIGH! First day of Sixth and Third Grade.

I'll begin first my parent's mission call which came almost exactly 7 weeks after they submitted their papers. Some Kind of Crazy. Friday, August 30, 2013. Can I just tell you that this movie was delightful? It felt like Christmas today when I went to see this movie with two of my dear friends- IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! How amazing is that? Today, after being completely frustrated by the amount of mismatched socks in the laundry, I decided to empty out all of the children's underwear and sock drawers. Some Kind of Crazy. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Yesterday marked 10 years from the time that my husband's mother passed away unexpectedly. She was only 52 years old. We flew to NJ where we packed up our little apartment in 2 days and let a moving company drive it back to AZ. Some Kind of Crazy. Thursday, September 27, 2012. I AM THE MOTHER OF A TEENAGER! My oldest son turned 13 last month! You know he's growing up when he asks for a trifle instead of birthday cake. I was thrilled! This week I got to accompany him to school for "shadow a student day." It made me happy that he actually wanted me there! As I followed him around from class to class I watched him interact with his friends and even saw a couple girls who I thought may have been flirting with him! Some Kind of Crazy.

Some Kind of Crazy. Thursday, October 11, 2012. Well it's 11:00 in the evening and I'm hungry and thinking about food. To keep myself from going to the kitchen right now and eating junk I've decided that I'll go get one of my favorite salads for lunch tomorrow. Here are some of them (not really in order because it would take me too long to keep re-numbering.). 1 Spicy Chicken Salad from Pei Wei. 2 Sweet Pork Salad from Costa Vida or Cafe Rio. I like them both. 3 Fuji Apple Salad from Paradise Bakery.
