Monday, July 25, 2011. For better or worse.or in the middle. Five years, five months, and fourteen days ago, I married my best friend. It was definitely amazing and crazy and such a mess. But it was one of the best days of my life. We said the traditional vows, love, honor, obey and Corinthians 13:4-13 was recited. I wore something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue and everything was supposed to be perfect! Guaranteed by the traditions and God's love and family blessings and such.

Friday, May 4, 2012. Everybody poops. (pt 3). If you have never been to a military funeral, count your blessings. Everybody poops, everybody dies, not every funeral is the same. When we all arrived at Brandon's home, it was relieving and heartbreaking at the same time. Jeff and I got the biggest, longest, most needed hugs; and we most definitely needed them. We stayed up all night with Brandon's mom, dad, sister and brother-in-law, laughing and crying; just too scared to go to sleep. May YOU never forget.
