April 23, 2015. My nanny died last week. Her name is Agnes Hope Phillipps. Over the next few days we said our goodbyes to our nanny. It was beautiful and elegant and every bit our nanny. I felt it a complete honour to lay with her in her final hours. Another honour to sweep floors and do dishes for those that came to pay their respects. I felt peace at her passing. How long will this last? Her name was Agnes Hope Phillipps …. And she was my nanny …. And she was beloved and perfect ….
