Happy Hamburgers: April 2014
http://rabbitbearbug.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 17, 2014. I can't even think of anything to write about this; nothing I can come up with really does the event justice. Sierra is nuts! Her friend is crazy too! This water was melted ice and when I say "melted ice" I seriously mean melted ice! Ice chunks were floating in the water and that white stuff they are standing on is the lake .the FROZEN lake .which is ICE .FROZEN WATER! It was seriously that. Want to do is never a good idea. Understood Michaela? Monday, April 14, 2014. I start of...

Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Bell Photo of the week - Week 17. Monday, April 16, 2012. The night before the ultrasound, I was worried that the baby would be sleeping and the midwife wouldn't be able to get a good look at his/her gender. The next morning I was drinking lots of water and orange juice in hopes of getting lots of movement. Within the first minute she asked me "So, what do you think you are having? Well, even I could see it was boy so I guess I had nothing to be worried about! Speaking of clothes...

PiNG's Danish Adventures: Jul 16, 2010
http://ping-dk.blogspot.com/2010_07_16_archive.html
Friday, July 16, 2010. Summer Road Trip 2010 - Day 1. Our much anticipated summer vacation is officially underway! My plan is to do a daily update so we have something to look back on and remember it all! This is, of course, dependent upon working internet connections but I do believe I have booked all of our hotels with that in mind so it shouldn't be an issue. The house is in the middle of nowhere at the end of a dead-end country road. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the dog sitter, her husband, h...

PiNG's Danish Adventures: S.O.L.
http://ping-dk.blogspot.com/2011/05/sol.html
Tuesday, May 10, 2011. For the native English speakers out there, when you hear SOL, what’s the first thing that springs to mind? 160; Yeah, not so good, right? Well, when that phrase comes up in Danish, it means something entirely different. In this case, SOL means Sundhed og Livsstil, or in English (yeah back to that again), Health and Lifestyle, or more succinctly, Healthy Lifestyle. And this, my friends, is what I’ve been trying to do for the last few months. As my blogging friend, Stephanie.

Not Quite Danish: March 2009
http://notquitedanish.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Raunchy sex, drugs and .umm, no, .Actually, life in Denmark for a couple of Aussie expats. Monday, March 30, 2009. The park is full of surprises. So far this year there’s not been that much to laugh about. Apart from everything else I’ve written about, I also had a DKK 7,500 bill from the tandlæge. However, I did get a good laugh yesterday. When we go to the park, we take a few of those black doggy poo bags and stuff one with treats. NQDII asked both dogs if they’d like a treat. Friday, March 27, 2009.

Not Quite Danish: December 2008
http://notquitedanish.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Raunchy sex, drugs and .umm, no, .Actually, life in Denmark for a couple of Aussie expats. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. You know, in the twenty and a bit since this Christmas song came out, I just realised nothing much has changed. We're still at war, people still starve and there's still a lot of hate and greed around. Julefrokoster have been going on for weeks and there have been a LOT of very happy Danes around town. Not, in my opinion, that it’s one to celebrate. But, for 24 hours I forgot...Now, I ...

Monday, July 30, 2012. Week 31 started in the middle of our 5 day vacation to Krakow. We planned this trip in June with hopes that I would still be feeling up to getting on a plane at the beginning of Month 8. I have tried to stay fairly active for the past 7 months and I think that had I not, I would have been completely miserable since visiting European cities generally involves walking and a lot of it. I will type a post about our week in Krakow later. I knew I wouldn't get away without them. Symptoms...

This German Texan: Freyenstein
http://thisgermantexan.blogspot.com/2014/05/freyenstein.html
Saturday, May 17, 2014. When I went to Freyenstein for the first time in 2003, I didn't really know what I was doing. I knew that my great-grandmother's family had come from a town called Freyenstein; I just didn't know which. Freyenstein (there are two in Germany, one in Switzerland). I was on a mission, though, and within 48 hours of arriving in Germany, I set out on the Autobahn in a rented Fiat and headed for the nearest Freyenstein, determined to find the birthplace of my ancestors. I didn’t k...
