oh-ke-doh-ke: April 2008
http://oh-ke-doh-ke.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2008. After work on Wednesday afternoons, I attend a china painting class. I have been going to class for a few years now. The participants are mostly women, my age and older. I would venture a pretty safe bet that Grandma Williams (JW's Mom) is the oldest in the class, clocking in at 85 years young. Most of the students paint flowers on all shapes of china; oftentimes, they paint fruit. I enjoy painting these things as well. My least favorite flower to paint? It can be as unusual as y...

Brother & Sister Diederich: August 2009
http://hugoandanina.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Brother and Sister Diederich. Serving in the Germany Mission. Monday, August 31, 2009. Today is Sunday and it was nice to relax at church and feel of the Spirit and not have a speaking assignment. Right now the apartment is filling with lots of good smells from Anina's cooking. At six tonight we are having 8 young missionaries and one student from England join us for Sunday dinner. Anina hopes that we have enough for the "ever hungry" Elders and Sisters. Sunday, August 23, 2009. The news is not all disco...

http://hugoandanina.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Brother and Sister Diederich. Serving in the Germany Mission. Sunday, July 26, 2009. A wonderful relaxing Sunday. It is Sunday afternoon. The sun is out and it is very comfortable outside. It is approximately 70 degrees outside. It is ideal for a nice walk. During the week it rained every day, but that did not stop us from going places or talking to people. Monday, July 20, 2009. Payday, It does not get any better than that! It was fun to see a number of young missionaries from the Frankfurt Mission on t...

Brother & Sister Diederich: TIME KEEPS MARCHING ON
http://hugoandanina.blogspot.com/2010/01/time-keeps-marching-on.html
Brother and Sister Diederich. Serving in the Germany Mission. Sunday, January 10, 2010. TIME KEEPS MARCHING ON. Time keeps ticking away, ready or not! Even the young missionary force is getting smaller in our missions. We have felt that reality last week as we lost the Sister Missionaries here in Dortmund. The set of Elders left in Dortmund have more to do than they can handle and are asking for help from the members to go "joint teaching" with them. Several have asked again for our return information...

GEORGIA ON MY MIND: September 2008
http://leighleigh08.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
GEORGIA ON MY MIND. Monday, September 29, 2008. Limited Gas.Long Lines. While their is an actual shortage of gas coming into the city, most of the problem is steming from people panicing. People are filling up before neccessary and if they are allowed they are filling up several of those red gas canisters for later. If people would just hold off until they needed it, the situation would not be quite so bad. Sunday, September 21, 2008. Labels: Family and Friends. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

oh-ke-doh-ke: Pomp and Circumstance
http://oh-ke-doh-ke.blogspot.com/2008/05/pomp-and-circumstance.html
Thursday, May 29, 2008. We now have two college graduates! Dan received BS degrees in both Physics and Math on May 10. Over 2400 diplomas were handed out. Luckily, they do not read every name like they do for high school. It rained after the ceremony. We found a good use for the mortarboard as a rain hat. Unfortunately, Mom's keepsake became a bit warped. The next day, we moved Dan out of the dorm for the last time. Moving in and out of dorms definitely gives one an incentive to graduate! Small Town Guy ...
