A Beautiful Wide Smile - Our Family's Cleft Journey. Thursday, August 29, 2013. Today is the day. I feel like today is a very bittersweet day. We have to be at the hospital by 7:45am to check in. We preregistered over the phone so checking in shouldn't take too long. Not sure. Also, anyone with a baby knows you can schedule and plan but chances are, that's not what is going to happen. I found out some good news! We finally made it inside, we signed in and Maelene is weighed and measured. She is 13lbs.
