Medeia Senka: Don't expect much from me for a while
http://ebonydarkness.blogspot.com/2009/02/dont-expect-much-from-me-for-while.html
Don't expect much from me for a while. My computer, faithful (if frustrating) piece of technology, has handed in its resignation letter. Turns out, it didn't like when I tried to run Word, Photoshop, iTunes, and the internet all at the same time. I mistakenly thought that it made the "I'm chewing on screwdrivers" noise because it was happy. Like a cat purring. If anyone has $500 burning a hole in their pocket feel free to donate it to the Medeia needs a new computer fund.

Maelstrom: Chanda's Wars by Allan Stratton
http://maelstrombooks.blogspot.com/2008/04/chandas-wars-by-allan-stratton.html
Friday, April 25, 2008. Chanda's Wars by Allan Stratton. A more serious review from the Maelstrom for a more serious novel. After reading. Book I have gained a precious insight into the trials of a nation and time torn by poverty and internal abuses. Six months have passed since the untimely death of Chanda’s mother. I bestow 6.5 lightnings on this novel and encourage you to find and read it at the earliest convenience. Somewhat Subdued but Inspired. In pursuit of odyssey. April 25, 2008 at 1:11 PM.

Maelstrom: Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson
http://maelstrombooks.blogspot.com/2009/05/chains-by-laurie-halse-anderson.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2009. By Laurie Halse Anderson. Wow It's been quite some time since I have written a review over here. But you all know how life gets. Complicated, busy, and occassionally dragged down by the world-suck. It's the books that suffer. But today, on my birthday, I have had the time to sit down and for once in a long while, update you as to a review. Awesome. It appears to be a fiesta of. Over here, because the title I most recently devoured was by her as well (Medeia having. I'm really gla...

Maelstrom: Newes From the Dead by Mary Hooper
http://maelstrombooks.blogspot.com/2008/06/newes-from-dead-by-mary-hooper.html
Sunday, June 29, 2008. Newes From the Dead by Mary Hooper. This novel by Mary Hooper tells the tale of Anne Green, a convicted murderess sentenced to hang. Want to hear the twisted part? Anne is found to be alive many hours later (after being declared legally dead) on a doctor's dissection table . The best part? It's based on the true story of Anne Green's hanging in 1650. I give Newes From the Dead. 48 lightnings [insert flashing light and various sounds of a thundery nature here]. From the Shadows,.

Medeia Senka: oh dear...
http://ebonydarkness.blogspot.com/2009/03/oh-dear.html
I've decided that in order to do everything I need to do, I'm going to start lurking around the library during my free time (hah, free time. that's a good one) and kill- I mean, wait patiently for a free spot in the computer room. I logged into blogger for the first time in a forever and saw that there are many many posts for me to read and so if I don't right at this second (13 minutes until they'll yell at me to start shelving some books) I will at some point. Twilight on one side and Eragon on the oth...

Medeia Senka: *is speechless*
http://ebonydarkness.blogspot.com/2009/03/is-speechless.html
Cry of the Icemark. And Blade of Fire. Were speechless-making, it's true. The ohmygodthisissofreakinAMAZINGhowhaveIlivedwithoutthis? Kind of speechless. So I wasn't planning on reviewing The Last Battle of the Icemark because this is one of those series that you just expect to be 100% made of awesome. So I got through the first chapter. and was disconcerted.and then I read the second. and the third. and it was AWFUL. This is legitimately. Say is: WHAT HAPPENED? October 24, 2009 at 11:45 AM.

Medeia Senka: January 2009
http://ebonydarkness.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Is when there's a book, and it's great (maybe even amazing), but then you read something else. One of the parallels that were totally invisible before. So we're reading Frankenstein. In my english class and I'm finally getting more out of Storm Thief. Is pretty fantastic. I freakin' love British lit. And the bookmoviefail CONTINUES. Oh you thought it was over. That we wouldn't get together again and watch yet ANOTHER horribleawful book movie. Well you were wrong. What if someone stepped on it? PS My favo...

Medeia Senka: Dilemma
http://ebonydarkness.blogspot.com/2009/02/dilemma.html
Do you ever get the feeling that you know something from somewhere but you don't know what it is? Wow, I'm articulate. NOT. It's kind of like when you're watching a movie and you see an actor and you're like "Oh, what movie do I know him from? That sort of thing happens to me a lot (and I've gotten really good at the name-another-character-played-by-that-actor-whose-name-I-don't-know game). Today for example. I think it could be from:. Maelstrom: Cybele's Secret by Juliet Marillier
http://maelstrombooks.blogspot.com/2008/12/cybeles-secret-by-juliet-marillier.html
Monday, December 29, 2008. I wasn't planning on fixing up a review for this particular book, because it was a sequel/companion story. But it really does deserve a place of its own. I loved Wildwood Dancing the second time through, but adored. From the first experience of readage. Okay Shevraeth moment. As in, I completely and utterly fell in love with the male characters of this book. Stoyan, the bodyguard, was that excellent and almost familiar stoic type while Paula's other interest, a piratey ...Hopin...
