Friday, 5 July 2013. Our Visit to West Midlands Safari Park. On Monday 24th June we visited West Midlands Safari Park. On our tour of the park we saw lots of different animals including white tigers, elephants, zebras and lions. One giraffe came right up to the bus and looked through the window! Sunday, 23 March 2014. On Friday 14th March we celebrated ‘World Book Day’. We all dressed up as characters from books. Even the teachers joined in the fun! In class we all entered a competition to design a World Book Day bookmark. Other activities included creating our own synopsis for a book and writing book reviews. Here are our photos. Monday, 16 March 2015. March our class visited Pontypridd Museum to take part in a K’NEX Challenge. First we had to work in pairs using K’NEX to build two moveable playground rides. Then we had to use an iPad to create a mini book to explain how we made our playground rides. During these tasks we used lots of Design Technology skills and ICT skills.
