Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Kylee's Baby Blanket- Patchwork Palm Tree. After getting some ideas of what Rachelle wanted, I drew up my version of the blanket. The color of the squares did change once we went shopping for the fabric. So much thought has gone into this blanket for a baby that has been loved since the first mention of her! Let the measuring and cutting begin! The first two strips intact! And the majority of the sewing is done, for now. This blanket is beautiful! The animals were applied to the f...

http://craftyatheart-amber.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 19, 2011. My apologies for the lack of bloggies. Due to a move and trying to get everything unpacked, and settling into public school life, well, it has been chaotic to say the least, and I have missed a lot of time with my crafts :( . In the last bloggy, I talked about painting some wall-letters for a friend of mine. After over a month of not being able to get to them, I am excited to announce that I have finally finished them! I delivered them last night! I used Apple Barrel's. Take ...

Monday, December 12, 2011. Oh, yes, she said GIVEAWAY! Hey there crafty readers! This is the BIG SURPRISE blog I have been talking about on my Twitter. I was recently introduced to a (new to me) digital scrapbooking software. I have been having so much fun creating everything from Christmas Card ideas, page layouts for Brea's scrapbook and a cute paper that I printed out to embellish a Christmas gift for Braydyn and Brea's Teachers. For my Son's 1st grade Teacher. Added the individual "block letters" and.

Just being ME: Coming Home
http://arfh-justbeingme.blogspot.com/2011/08/coming-home.html
Monday, August 1, 2011. I have been waiting since FOREVER to post this. On Saturday evening, a little after 9pm, those of us stationed at or visiting Fort Carson had the honor of Welcoming the Soldiers of 183rd Maintenance Company back home from a year deployment to Afghanistan. With joy and a few tears, I stood proudly with my Family clapping and cheering for all of them. My Husband, who was sent back early, was very excited to see his buddies and all that he worked with. Stay Up To Date. I am a 28 year...

Crafty At Heart: Gimme Your Pants!!
http://craftyatheart-amber.blogspot.com/2012/03/gimme-your-pants.html
Saturday, March 3, 2012. Strange title, I know! But it does hold a purpose. All of us decide to get rid of our clothing for one reason or another. My crafting and love for my Mother In-law has led me to a new craft group called Sisters In Christ. Each week we meet with our group for our craft session. A few weeks ago one of the ladies taught us how to make an apron out of our jeans. We have moved back home to Texas so any of the jeans I would have used are still packed and in storage. Saturday, March 03,...

Just being ME: We meet again!
http://arfh-justbeingme.blogspot.com/2011/08/we-meet-again.html
Friday, August 26, 2011. Today is our third day of the new Home School year. This week we have been going over our Kindergarten work to make sure we know all we did two months ago. The kids are doing great and Mommy is pleased! They are working hard and keeping up without much effort. We spent our first day of School at the Library. We took their workbooks with us and when they finished the worksheets, we picked out books to read. By, Leslie Muir. They drew pictures of their favorite part of the story.
