Wednesday, May 9, 2012. It was an amazing ceremony at Calvary Chapel West Tokyo! Pastor Kasumi Santo opened up his building to have the big night. People from Okinawa flew all the way up, just for it. Nervously giving my life verse speech while Yumi translates (below). I graduated with Aya and Chala, both spending their two years at CCBC Japan. It was so awesome to graduate with them and was so blessed in getting to know them better this semester. Pastor Tommy and Chala. Pastor Travis and Hae-Young.

Most of the CCBC Okinawa family has gone to the States to visit relatives and friends, including our Pastor, Tom Ruiz, and his family. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Okonomiyaki Party for the Youth. After church service yesterday, some of the Bible College interns got the youth group together for a time of lunch and fellowship. We made Okonomiyaki - a traditional Japanese pancake type of food. You mix egg, batter, and vegetables and cook it on a grill. Monday, April 16, 2012. I took time away from the Bible College to fly back to the States for my best friend's wedding. I was only back for about four days but it was a super blessed time seeing old friends and celebrating. Since I was in the wedding as well, it was a lot of fun helping my friend get ready for her big day. I also got to see old church friends from Calvary Chapel San Francisco, the church I was reborn at, grew up at, and left just before coming to Bible College. Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
