Saturday, 16 May 2015. Last weekend I spent the whole of Sunday editing Philip's thesis. I was kind of like "I have no freaking clue what you're writing about AF doctrine and irregular warfare, but sure I'll tear your writing to shreds." A few hours in he asked, "what page are you on? We're looking forward to a long weekend in CO at the end of this week (though how is it that when you are gone for two days of the week that suddenly those two days that the result is 5 days of work being compressed into 3?

Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Tonight I tagged along with Tristen's AWANA class.how incredibly fun :). He and his friend, Caleb :). Then we headed to a bowling alley to hang out with our youth group.Tristen bowled for the first time and LOVED it. He wasn't quite as thrilled about laser tag but we'll try again when he's older! Friday, December 5, 2014. Wednesday, November 26th didn't exactly go as planned. The day started out fantastic with the news that we could FINALLY close on our house.it's officially ours now! The story of the house will come later.I wanted to wait until it was actually OURS! After the closing, we packed our bags as fast as possible to head to my in-laws for Thanksgiving. My husband has not had much time off lately and we were so looking forward to having a holiday off and being together as a family.

Tuesday, October 28, 2014. We close on both our houses tomorrow! The sellers of the house we bought graciously let us move in 4 days early so we moved the majority of our things on Saturday. It was SO great seeing our things again and letting the kids play with their long lost toys they haven't seen for at least a few weeks (and many they hadn't seen since we put our house on the market! I think we can just skip Christmas this year since everything is new to them again ;). Getting the U-Haul all packed up.

Saturday, 25 October 2014. Red, yellow, and orange. We are solidly in autumn territory my friends. I love that the trees are on fire with color. I recognized last weekend that stepping out side being hopeful that a coat was not necessary was no longer a viable possibility. A couple of weeks ago we made a weekend trip up to NYC.
