Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Here are the questions to this week's Wednesday Hodgepodge. Hop back here tomorrow to share answers with all your friends and neighbors. See you there! 1 Is your home air conditioned? If it's not air conditioned, is that by choice? Did you grow up with air conditioning? If not how did you cope with the heat? Share about a time or place you remember as being too hot-the temperature kind of hot, lest anyone be confused. 3 Your favorite light and airy dessert? If so where did you go?

Monday, February 23, 2015. And we're going to get married. Are you sick of my wedding posts yet? Hope not because we've only just made it to the church and I still have more to share! We found out that a previous bride's family had built a custom pallet wall to cover the front wall of the sanctuary, and they had left it for other brides to use. It was the perfect addition and absolutely framed the alter beautifully. And once our florist. Added her magical touch the space was transformed. She found her dr...

Sincerely Shannon: Prayer Request and a DIY

Monday, July 27, 2015. Prayer Request and a DIY. In other news my sister comes to visit me TOMORROW! Nothing like a visitor to motivate you to check things off the to-do list. Our guest room was passable. It had a comfy bed and the lamps on the floor didn't seem to bother our parents when they came to visit. what more do you need? Here's my inspiration pins. They needed a little tlc so I also picked up a can of Valspar Chalky Paint in Kid Gloves. Long story short, here's the before. And here's the after:.

Thursday, May 28, 2015. Leave Part 1: Portland. TJ and I finally got to take some leave together! Multiple uninterrupted days in row. Hasn't happened since our mini moon. Waking up in the morning together (and not just for a bleary eyed kiss as he heads out the door to work) and having someone to wrangle the puppy with me was glorious. We left Friday afternoon and headed South to Portland, Oregon for Friday and Saturday night. We stayed at the Riverplace Hotel. We both agreed we might need to come back t...

Sincerely Shannon: sister time
http://www.sincerelyshannon.com/2015/08/sister-time.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. I finally got to see my sister after 6 months of separation, which is far too long! She finally arrived in Washington last Tuesday for an entire week together. Having her to visit is different than other company. I don't have to entertain her and we didn't care about doing touristy things. We just wanted to catch up and be near each other. On our way home from the airport we got Popeyes, and that's how I know she's my sister. Saturday T.J. was on call and sister and I head...And t...

http://kristaandjason.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-ocean-city-life.html
Sunday, June 7, 2015. The Ocean City Life. Warning, this is a huge post! We had two weeks there which was enough time to get it all in at a leisurely pace! Vacationing with Ashley means you have an activities director with you at all times. She keeps a long list of everything we simply "must" do while we were there, and she will remind you endlessly if she fears it may slip by without doing. So here's a sum up of our beach days with our activities director:. We got to enjoy the beach and the planes!
