Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Thursday, July 31, 2008. So, just in case you all didn't have a clear picture of what mega nerdage might look like, I made sure to capture it this time. Josh, Hubby, and Jackson all as delighted as their hearts can hold! I read Harry Potter in the bath! Wednesday, July 30, 2008. They split down the center, which, as luck would have it, is a great place for the condiments! Close up of ...

Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Sunday, November 30, 2008. Another whirlwind holiday celebrated and gone! Hubby and I headed to Indiana to see the family this Thanksgiving. As usual, it was a good restful trip, but seemed to go by too fast. As one holiday is buried and another one is being born, somewhere in there is the end of a semester. One more week to teach! Two more weeks of classes! Goals for Winter Break.

Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Monday, October 13, 2008. To All the Girls I've Loved Before.(and Still Love). This weekend, however, I took a break. Hubby and I flew to NYC for the wedding of a good friend of mine. Hubby and I had a great time on Long Island where I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding. I have to admit though, this is the only wedding I've been in besides my own. Why is that? So, what gives?

Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Monday, February 23, 2009. Well, I finished up my first week as an official Weight Watcher's gal. I am official because we started officially paying for it today. Money=official. The week was a test. I started off excited about the possibility of change- controlled change- my favorite kind! And, Jazz, thanks for the encouragement. I've got you in my head! Wednesday, February 18, 2009.

Momentary Stay Against Confusion: August 2008

Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Sunday, August 24, 2008. We're Movin' on Up! To the East side. With a deluxe apartment in the sky-y-y! We found out this past Thursday that our landlord finally sold our humble abode. (Seriously humble. So humble, we're wondering why someone even bought it! This is bad because we don't want to pay the rent it typically takes to have level floors, fewer slugs, and doors. Keeping up wit...

Momentary Stay Against Confusion: Another Birthday...Gone!
http://againstconfusion.blogspot.com/2008/11/another-birthdaygone.html
Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Thursday, November 13, 2008. I remember a few years back; I was living in Bloomington, Indiana enjoying the change in my life and happily welcoming that big and bold 30th birthday. My 20's were nothing to celebrate. They were rough. I guess it didn't help that I spent four of those years struggling in New York City. Oh girl, I HEAR YOU! November 14, 2008 at 6:12 AM. Half the world is ...

Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. So, I've decided to add something else to my plate. Or not. I've recently joined Weight Watcher's Online. I have often been curious about WW because they have always advertised that they were about lifestyle change, not dieting. Well, recently I've decided I can get behind something like that. What prompted the change? Maybe I should treat myself to a vis...

Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Well, I guess it takes a devastating event to get me to write on my blog. I hope everyone out there is staying warm and safe. We've just had about 2 or so inches of ice in Fayetteville and I know Evansville, IN (the hometown) was hit pretty hard too. My folks are still without power. Stay warm; stay safe! Momentary Stay Against Confusion: March 2009

Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. This is often said and most difficult to do. Our lives get so hectic, so busy that we always have something else to take us away from perhaps the greater work we have been called to do. Between finishing the book, The Shack, a recent conversation with a friend, and Robb's sermon on Sunday at Vintage Fellowship. So, what comes of all this thinkin'? I’ve n...

Momentary Stay Against Confusion: Week Two Done!
http://againstconfusion.blogspot.com/2009/03/week-two-done.html
Momentary Stay Against Confusion. One more way for family and friends to keep up with our daily, and not so daily, grind. Monday, March 2, 2009. I don’t know how long I can keep these titles up because really, I want the things I learn with WW to be on-going. When I reach my end goal which revolves around a specific weight goal, re-education, re-focusing the hierarchy of God and food, then I’ll be closer to where I want to be. And, let me tell you, tonight God was a cupcake. I am a self-proclaimed slug.
