Aware of their diminishing habitat my focus is on both common and endangered species and through my sculptures I hope to create awareness to the plight of these beautiful creatures.

I was born in Tasmanian and moved to the Sunshine State in 1977. Living on the Granite Belt still allows me to experience the four seasons, while enjoying the warmth of the Queensland sun. Having raised a family, and in my mid forties, I discovered the joy of working with clay in 1994. Encouraged by family and friends I turned professional after a successful solo exhibition at Bungawarra Winery in 1998. I conduct workshops in my bush studio and tutor away with community groups. NEW WORKSHOPS FOR 2015! Workshops are held in my bush studio in Glen Aplin, commencing at 9am and finishing at 5pm each day. Workshops are limited to six participants. Cost per weekend workshop is $225. Which includes 2 blocks of BRT clay, tuition, drying and firing of your sculpture, and lunch both days.
