http://susin-nielsen.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Reflections From a Word Nerd. Monday, August 23, 2010. The people at my favorite bookstore have outdone themselves with this AMAZING window for "Dear George Clooney." I love the women who own and operate Kidsbooks. Here in Vancouver. They and their staff are passionate about kids' literature. No less than FOUR of their staff read an advance copy of my book, and they hand-sell tons of copies because customers appreciate and trust their opinions. I like a lot of stuff. Here's just a few other sites you should check out and why:. The Writers' Exchange does amazing things for at-risk kids in East Vancouver. Many of these kids are role models for me in their awesomeness. North Country Christmas Trees. One month a year, I sell Christmas trees under the shadow of the Playland wooden roller coaster. I would do it for longer, but sales drop off pretty quickly. Vancouver Children's Literature Roundtable. Master of Arts in Children's Literature.
